China's exports of ferrosilicon (Si>55%) in June 2022 increased by 37.43% year-on-year
Beijing (Asian Metal) 2022-08-12 China's ferrosilicon (Si>55%) exports in June 2022 were 57,566.40 metric tons, compared with 41,887.56 metric tons in the same period last year and 76,510.92 metric tons in the previous month, up 37.43% year-on-year and down 24.76% month-on-month.
In June 2022, the export value of China's ferrosilicon (Si>55%) was US$118,047,639.00, compared with US$61,757,282.00 in the same period last year and US$170,842,398.00 in the previous month, up 91.15% year-on-year and down 30.90% month-on-month. The average export price was $2,050.63/metric ton, compared with $1,474.36/metric ton in the same period last year and $2,232.92/metric ton last month.
From January to June 2022, China’s cumulative export of ferrosilicon (Si>55%) was 398,576.57 metric tons, compared with 223,404.12 metric tons in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 78.41%.
In June 2022, the top three export destinations for China's ferrosilicon (Si>55%) are South Korea, Japan and Indonesia.
China exported 13,199.00 metric tons of ferrosilicon (Si>55%) to South Korea, compared with 9,578.94 metric tons in the same period last year and 15,129.29 metric tons in the previous month, an increase of 37.79% year-on-year and a month-on-month decrease of 12.76%. The average export price was $2,217.11/metric ton, compared with $1,389.41/metric ton in the same period last year and $2,350.06/metric ton in the previous month, up 59.61% year-on-year and down 5.66% month-on-month.
China exported 9,392.80 metric tons of ferrosilicon (Si>55%) to Japan, compared with 14,202.24 metric tons in the same period last year and 18,949.40 metric tons in the previous month, down 33.86% year-on-year and 50.43% month-on-month. The average export price was US$2,056.06/tonne, compared with US$1,543.99/tonne in the same period last year and US$2,228.65/tonne in the previous month, up 33.16% year-on-year and down 7.76% month-on-month.
China exported 8,420.99 metric tons of ferrosilicon (Si>55%) to Indonesia, compared with 7,841.58 metric tons in the same period last year and 1,310.60 metric tons in the previous month, up 7.39% year-on-year and 542.53% month-on-month. The average export price was $2,070.78/metric ton, compared with $1,542.28/metric ton in the same period last year and $2,188.18/metric ton in the previous month, up 34.31% year-on-year and down 5.35% month-on-month.
