The unsuccessful INTREPID trial of trofinetide in 2016 on moderate and severe traumatic brain injury by the Walter Reed Military hospital on brain injured service personnel appears to have not been conducted as well as NEUREN had hoped.
For example, NEUREN commented in an Update on April 26, 2016 " the distribution of patients resulted in a higher proportion of severely injured patents being assigned to the drug group rather than placebo in the largest cohort of 200 receiving the highest dose"

Given the results of the well conducted trial by Acadia, perhaps Walter Reed may be able convinced by Acadia to run a new trial?
