Imagine what might happen to the market depth if those US heavy-hitting broking firms and funds decided they wanted to buy NEU shares.
NEU must be technically eligible by market cap for top 200 index entry by now, so imagine if Australian funds who are required to buy top 200 ASX stocks started buying in early to avoid a big rush by everyone for shares at the official time.
And imagine all the publicity NEU and Acadia will get for this breakthrough of owning the first-ever approved drug for a neuro-developmental disorder. it is such a feel-good story, media will love it.
so many reasons for people to buy and so few reasons to sell.
The main selling reason would be from funds whose portfolios are now so seriously overweight in Neuren they feel they must sell some shares to comply with their fund's mandated diversification rules.
