I often posted the 2 year chart here. Whilst I'm not big on technical analysis I found it incredibly helpful to avoid even the slightest temptation to sell. Last year we added an extra bag to our positions, yet it's easy to forget that most of last year was spent in a downtrend. A big rally at the beginning of the year, followed by many months of selling. Then at the very end of the year a massive rally. Helps you to remember to ignore the short term movements, focus on the bigger picture! Amazing how many people get so caught up in the shorter term stuff and forget why they originally invested
