The presentation included comments that indicated that the drilling to date would provide a decent updated MRE which will provide enough ounces to produce a PFS production level well above the Scoping Study. In addition to reaffirming the PFS deadline of June 2024 (a plus), the new MRE announcement was flagged for Q1, 2024. I did not detect any indication that these milestones and targets were being reported with a touch of exaggeration.
RMS could have snapped up RXL by now so I would be surprised if they suddenly jumped at RXL? Given that SLR have a large $cash balance and currently successfully produce gold concentrate, I would put my money on them as the most likely predator. High grade gold deposits are not going to be on sale for much longer so if the cashed up players don’t jump soon the prices they will be paying for new projects will be significantly higher.
