Seriously?

If Nearmap was dated and inappropriate, why would they be doing so well? Clearly their huge customer base believes it's a great source of imagery and other datasets and tools, as they continue to increase their spend with Nearmap each year, all while Nearmap continues to bring on 1000+ new customers each year.

Both Nearmap and Pointerra are not going to be for everyone, however they take data and visualisation to huge numbers of people ordinarily unable to access it, due to factors such as cost, time to source via old hat project based providers, and in larger businesses due to IT or spatial people protecting their dated jobs insisting they be the controller of such data sets.

Instead, the new world looks to companies such as Nearmap and Pointerra for ease of access, enabling the true experts to answer questions quickly and accurately without having to worry about time and cost due to the issues above.
