No you cant put a trading halt until a deal is signed just because it "imminent". Nothing has changed that material affects the company. They have no agreement so we currently cant mine in Tanzania. If the decision is finalised next week , or October or End of Year u cant have the stock in trading halt it allows no one to sell or buy for no reason. If u think its really close and you like the stock as i said just buy some. If you want to wait then wait until confirmed then do that , risk will be low premium higher. Last 2 days trading , particularly yesterday looks like the calm before the storm. Good Luck !
