But i think that the notion that this tech is not useable/profitable is ludicrous. I look at plans for homes most days and often i see centralised panels installed in the home (which i pressume has been profitable for some). This tech makes that look pretty damn obsolete.
Imagine the applications worth to buisness where plant and equipment is operated manually. In this instance its not a question of laziness its a question of time/money and resource utilization.
I think the main driver of this stock is not about catering to laziness at all rather looking at adressing the disconnect between the speed with which a computer can process information and the time it takes a human to act upon that information. (Productivity)
Im drawing along bow here i know but IOT seems the logical extension of applying technology to physical elements that were previously human controlled.
