if you pay the other side to bring their tech to a pilot in your site you must have some sort of strength of commitment. If you pay for a pilot AND assist in the development of the tech THEN go and independently verify it FOLLOWED by start to roll it out commercially it would seem HIGHLY unlikely that you’d just stop using it….
I think time coupled to regulatory concerns is all that is roadblocking any greater deployment
