the proline monkey vision looks average. we have been installing systems since 99 and use a variety of systems from Mobotix, Dahua, Hik Vision etc. which look a lot more robust and professional.

all the same great to see that its made in Oz and if they improve on some product designs they might get a foot hold.

the company has the right idea, verified alarms are the future of back to base monitoring. The monitoring stations that get ahead of this will take market share, the ones that dont will be selling lines just to keep the lights on. they are also right about the assessment that there is no market leader and its ripe for the picking.

The big hurdle is that its been tried before, every company out there has had multiple BAD experiences from techs guards, monitoring stations, project managers or in some cases all of the above and after changing companies every few years they are weary.

who ever becomes king in monitoring will have an impossible task of convincing customers that they are different to the rest and then sticking to it for a long bloody time.


Alarms are dead, ask anyone who sells 4G comms units for alarms. Triggered alert from new smart cctv cameras has changed the game.
