It's required in the quarterly, but there's also absolutely nothing stopping them from mentioning current cash on hand in the investor presentation. This release was marked price sensitive, so they can disclose whatever they like about the current cash situation.
The obvious conclusion is that it looks better to report the higher COH number from the last quarterly report combined with the higher production number from today's date. If it's such a hot topic and they really didn't want to use today's financial situation, then just report everything as at the end of the last quarter, including production figures.
You can call it nitpicking if you like mate, I call it window dressing. As a certain poster likes to repeat ad-nauseum, details matter.
