this is a common strategy on a SPP......sell down part of your holding and top up in the SPP to maintain a similar weighting in your own portfolio
couple of things to be aware of:
- this raise is going to be extremely dilutive so your share of the company is going down if you do nothing (or if you sell now and buy back the same amount later....i.e. your ownership of the company will reduce)
- you are expecting the price to remain above 8c.......if it falls below 8c then it seems unlikely you would participate in the SPP at 8c
