No way to know if this is as low as it goes. This corona virus has put the fear of God into a lot of governments & people & that fear is showing itself in the losses all over the stock market.
I'm not sure any positive news coming out of 88E would have an effect on the SP at the moment until this corona thing has "died" down a bit (pun not intended).
