Black Cat, I’ve reviewed your recent commentary around the ‘compelling gold results’, are you referring to the announcement released by TKM on 2nd August 2021?
It states down the bottom of the announcement, “out of the 216 rock chip samples taken from E45/4960 only one was > than 1g/T Au which means the rest were subordinate and not worth publishing.
The other results in the same announcement from E45/5484 we’re also average when you exclude the two anomalies 178 g/T Au and 13.042 g/T Au.
Based on these samples, I can see why management shifted projects and good on them for doing so. They may be guilty by writing ‘compelling’ in the wording but what small cap mineral resource company on the asx isn’t guilty for using too many superlatives? It is the only way they can gain exposure and traction in this saturated market place of resource companies. Can understand your dislike to commentary in the announcement but this isn’t central to TKM management.
Let me make it clear, I am only here for the VMS deposit potential. This could be a company maker once diamond drilling is conducted. I like VMS systems due to the multi element and potential high grade nature of them, it provides a natural hedge due to the various commodities that can be present in these systems. Essentially the company can focus on one project, yet still be diversified from commodity price fluctuations. Given that they don’t yet have a company maker, in my opinion it makes sense to focus on the VMS system given the anomalies and RC drilling conducted to date. Bill Beament the master who used to be in gold is focusing on a VMS system - Develop global, which is next door to us - that project has turned into a multi bagger and so can this (for full disclosure I own DVP). This project is also closer to port headland with a rail line intersecting DVP and us so for those additional reasons can see why the company is honing in on this project. Derek the CEO is hungry for success and with John Young on the board, I am backing management as well otherwise I wouldn’t be invested in this company. Good luck to all CP
