Ffs karate boy.. hold off on the seppuku mate.. its not that bad yet.
there are more potential upside drivers to this puppy than downside risks really.
Fundamentally we are still rising from a point of no Gold to a point of having a shitlosd of gold. In the upper echelon of gold deposits worldwide.. the 5th biggest in australia. At this point.. but look at the upside.. only a lobotomised Muppet could think we do not have immense near term upside.. much of it already drilled too probably..
There is a good chance we could end up owning Australia's lowest aisc cost mine with the largest deposit. Don't want to get ahead of proceedings at this point but I do believe that to be true, it's a very real possibility and if so its an asset of global significance even at the currently depressed share and gold price..
if you had to stake your gerbils life on it what way would you be punting? Long term up or down? I know what way I'd be going..
there are so many things that could turn in our favour too. No point spelling them all out but gold price and miner sentiment being the least of them i am not too concerned about some speculated and currently unjustified concerns about potential teething issues esp over the timeframe that this plan will be implemted in. Seriously.. what's more likely.. some typical and accounted for problems during the commissioning process or an ultimately successful roll-out and subsequent gold price increase along with maybe some other possible tail winds like fuel price or labour cosy drop should the e ono.y in general take a beating in the meantime.? Speculation for sure .. much unknown but given the current environment I know where I'm more comfortable placing my bets
If you want a sure thing go get you 4 percent in the bank and see how that works out for you.
