After extending higher moves on Friday to close at $2473.40/oz, gold futures are poised to break through resistance at $2477.00/oz. The recent bullish price action, along with the rising Relative Strength Index, suggests that upside momentum is building, and this momentum should push futures into a bullish breakout. If it does, gold futures could extend their uptrend toward higher resistance at $2600/oz.
