Drilling under the old pits might be a good way to see if the sulphide orebody continues into the Hammer ground. It is present with good grades in the Carnaby ground so I can't imagine anything else in the Hammers ground directly beneath the old open pits, extensions outside of this are more speculative.

I am not convinced at present about a 1200m deep hole at the boundary to pick up the extension of Carnaby's Mount Hope Central lode which they say would enter the Hammer ground at 1000m. Nice to know but little immediate gain. It might be a decade or two before any associated leverage would come into play with Carnaby, shallow ore is another thing entirely.

I understand this requires a new access track and drilling permits (track mounted rig access?) so it will take a while to do this. I would not bother with geophysics first, perhaps some downhole if necessary afterwards.
