It wasn’t intended to be a qualifier, just trying to point out both sides were making equivalent statements.
Debt was part of the capital raising, which also included equity. The raising will be used for WC and to repay debt wth another party and pay the raising fees. It’s not sensible to say otherwise as they came as a package. C would have insisted that debt was part of the package because it is higher level than equity.
