A friend who farms in central west NSW tells me he is almost guaranteed a winter crop for the 2022/23 year. He has so much soil moisture it won't take a big rainfall year during calendar 2022 to get a crop.
He is very concerned however, about getting his current crop off and into a storage. He is expecting huge yields but cannot yet strip it due to the wet weather.
