Yes the AFR reported the takeover bid early last year. That forced managements hand and then they had to declare that yes that had received an offer, but rejected it. Shareholders never had a chance to vote on it. It was also the AFR that belled the cat in regards to the need for a capital raise through barenjoey a few short months ago which management denied at the time, and yet here we are with a capital raise through, yep you guessed it barenjoey.
