Do you think some of it could have been profit taking in London before they closed for the week? from 11am New York time?
Rest, I suspect the Americans taking advantage that the Chinese markets finished for the week and couldn't respond to the sell down. Volume was certainly there, that there was a fight on regardless.
All imho.
