Picking labour not so much an issue.
Poor yields and low price are a double whammy. But if their yields were 3x higher in line with a ‘good’ grower then the income would have been 3x higher with only a marginal increase in the cost of production (a bit more labour to pick and pack, plus some extra freight). The result would have been much better and more palatable to me as a shareholder.
