I'm hearing the opposite, consumer's have very little in their pockets as most the money went into asset price inflation and also credit card debts are surging so repayments are a large percentage of household income.
None of these rates hikes help the supply side at all as producers also feel the pinch of higher debt serving cost which they pass on.
