I was looking at this very graph just yesterday. I went back and clicked on the 3 year view.
The previous short sold peak on that graph was 9.16% in Jun'16 with an accompanying share price of $8.03 Compare this to the most recent data of 9.18% on 6th Aug'18 with a corresponding closing share price of $9.01. I note today's closing SP of $8.73
I too listened to some of the Royal Commission proceedings concerning IOOF. Kelaher did not want to be there but at least he fronted and took the heat for everyone at IOOF, that is leadership. It was a pity he looked fairly uncomfortable but that is what you get paid the big bucks for.
I am not convinced the short sellers are finished with IFL just yet. So I am not sure whether to add to my position just yet. The ex:div date is also a complicating factor.
I still remain confident for the investment case in IFL and as ever just trying to time my re-entry a bit better.
