After listening to the rest of the ck’s evidence, I’m even less concerned than before. I think IOOF is finished on the stand - for now at least. Seemed a pretty trivial affair that hodge had dug up in its totality, with nab being largely to blame and, from my understanding, all remediation already effected. Admittedly there are some conflicts at board level but it sounded like ifl were already in dialogue with APRA about remedying this in any event.
Maybe Hayne will decide the super fund trustee should have an independent board but I can’t see that having a material effect on IOOF.
