    So 33k bbl @ $30/bbl operating margin = $1m per well. Cost to drill is 30% of 2.4, say 800k, that leaves 200k left over per well. Not much beer in that is there? ...unless theres actually more oil down there than quoted in the reserve statements, (which are generally fairly conservative)...which would make the endeavour more lucrative...
    again, interested in others take on that.
