I think there's a bit of confusion, what has happened in the US/Canada is based on raw plant material being labelled 'medicinal', I don't believe this is the path MXC is travelling. My understanding is: they're focused on extracting Cannabinoids from the Cannabis plant, which are then to be used in medicinal products.
I conclude: the confusion with all these companies revolves around the word 'medicinal'. The Australian Gov. (presently) does not consider Cannabis in its raw form, medicinal.
