It's also far cheaper than fossil for these projects in the Pilbara. There's a good reason FMG are building massive solar farms.electrowinning is to produce sheets of metal. If done with renewables at the mine it is far cheaper than if done elsewhere. Cheaper power and less Logistics costs.
