I just wanted to add something before I head off - UNT has been my main focus over the last few days and I couldn't be more positive about this one.
I just dont feel that the news is that bad, its a bit meh sure, but really doesn't change anything fundamental for me at all. It was just my preference for the company to have access to a bit more cash, but it isn't a significant amount relative to what we just raised.

Who do you think benefits from the SPP being undersubscribed and any subsequent selling from retail driven from sentiment? The very people who sold the price down to begin with, who will more than likely be happy to snap up any shares that are sold (as will I).
I also think that 24 applications totalling $271K (average allocation was a little over $11000) was not a bad outcome at all considering where the share price was for the duration of the SPP. Don't forget this was also during the banking crisis in the US and the macro picture not being particularly friendly.
Things have to be looked at in context and I refuse to let emotion get in the way. Do you think the company directors are letting this affect where their concentration should be? I think as shareholders we should be focused on the future and forget about a measley 230K 'shortfall'.
As Idan said, cash is not the issue at the moment, it is simply putting the right people in place to support the expansion of the business (and commercialisation strategy) and working hard at the product before it goes to market (in addition to onboarding the big5, and nailing the NVIVO deployment later this year)

I wanted more buy in from the directors, totally agree on that - however I have no idea of their liquidity issues. Many company directors have most of their wealth locked up in the companies they are on the boards of and we have very little idea of how their cash positions are and what other expenses and commitments they have. I also think that to expect more institutional money during the SPP may have been inappropriate in hindsight - as institutions have already invested 4.5m in the placement prior to the SPP and it was largely aimed at retail IMO ($30K cap is rather small for institutions).

I think its healthy for price to consolidate in a range over the coming weeks to shore up some support (especially around the 0.033-0.035 level) and confidence so I'm not in a hurry for a rally. I think we will see price slowly approach 0.04c as selling becomes exhausted (arbitrage etc) and supply becomes more limited at the lower levels. I think it will be an interesting close and tommorow should be interesting also. This friday and next monday the ASX is closed and wont be back open until tuesday the 11th of April. I hope everyone gets a break and has a good long weekend. Now that the SPP and placement are out of the way, we can focus on what is actually important.
