100% agree, I am not to fussed with how "human like" it should look... I know I am talking to a graphic processor.. in fact I don't want it to look like a human at all...
IF I was the techie out there at UNT I would say "this is good enough, let us work on GPT4 integration & other things & we can focus on the rendering part later on if we have the bandwidth"
for now this was pretty "human" enough for me... I have called the optus helpline a few dozen times and I have never found their voice recognition system to even identify whether I am calling for a complaint or a buy order or anything, so we are that used to "Bad" interfaces... this was 10,000 times better than those experiences, cannot ask for more
