I see that Old gherkin appears to have removed the highly jaundiced comment he posted earlier today. That’s just as well, perhaps, because it bordered on the defamatory.

Just for the record, I know that the Shaw’s analyst who produced the latest research report on BCB (referenced in my post yesterday) is a highly qualified and experienced analyst who has maintained very close contact with BCB throughout the whole of its tempestuous journey in recent times. His conclusions may be right or wrong (as I mentioned yesterday, I am more cautious in my own assessment), but to allege that “Shaw’s has no idea” is reckless, irresponsible and clearly wrong.

Again for the record, I should say that I do not know the analyst personally (I have heard him speak, but never met him), but I do know that he is highly regarded in the industry and is thorough in his investigations.
