This is something that happens to all developers. Development is not a pretty word in the Greens world despite the Fed Govt saying that they are pushing hard to get affordable housing supply up and want to speed up the process. I have to say I am not happy to hear that areas holding vulnerable wildlife are being targeted and I would hope that some compromise is reached. Most Australians would not want to see koala's habitat depleted although I do know of areas where they are destroying their own habitat due to unsustainable populations of them to the point where at one time they were shifting them to new areas. I think the extensive bushfires in some areas have created problems for them. They cannot shift great distances quickly after extensive fire has destroyed their food source.
