As shareholders of MGH we appreciate both the information provided by @GutterThump and the related observations of @spider5. Thank you.
We have observed similar actions by MAAS at an industrial development in the NSW Central West where certain and significant development consent conditions were ignored prior to site work commencing.
The only difference is that the consent authority refused to engage with the local community and enforce a stop work until its own conditions were complied with. Eventually, after significant pressure was applied by way of a threat of referral to the Office of Local Government, Council did order a stop work.
So this combination of action/inaction by Developer, Council and MGH could well have led to protracted legal proceedings and fines.
As MGH shareholders, we would prefer the company to not only be cognisant of and strictly follow development consents but also maintain and promote community support in its endeavours.
Btw, the consent authority in this case was Mid-Western Regional Council. You'll find nothing about this on Council's web site nor the local press....
