If the BOD of a company do not pass on news of progress to its share holders, and some members of that board are affiliated with entities who are trading in that company could this be perceived as inside trading. What regulations are in place to prevent passing on of restricted information. I am not saying that this is occurring but certainly requires the question to be asked.
