I missed out. I paid by BPay aound 11am of the 22nd. Apparently the funds arrived at the share registry around 10am the next day (the 23rd) but that was just too late.
She told me that most of the $2m quota was filled by the end of the 22nd - 'a flood' of applications came in just before the original deadline, leaving just a small amount of the quota remaining to be filled on the 23rd.
I asked her why the announcement about the offer closing didn't come until Monday 27th - she said the company 'had to wait for the funds to clear' before making the announcement.
Refunds will be via a cheque in the mail.
