I saw this price sensitive announcement this morning and almost started to drool. Then the first page of the document hit me with one of the longest and most detailed legal disclaimers I have ever seen. In short, it told me not to believe anything in the announcement nor rely on it to take any decisions based on it because it contains subjective judgements. In that case, what is the point of the announcement. If it is a fairy tale, why go to the trouble and cost of publication? If we cannot rely on statements from the board of directors, why are they there? How can the announcement possibly be price sensitive?
Yes, I know that disclaimers are common practice, but this one went way over the top in my view. Maybe they fear a lawyerfest in USA.
