I note the presentation characterizes Peter van der Made as "previous Chief Scientist at IBM."
As I understand it he was Chief Scientist at a company that was taken over by IBM sometime after he left. I have not see any indication that he ever worked for IBM, and certainly not as Chief Scientist (not even sure IBM has such a position).
In light of this claim I would be suspicious of the truthiness of the whole presentation.
