Sorry, just for context, when Kerry Stokes/National Hire & Carlyle bought out Coates in 2007 it was for $1.65B and at an EBIT multiple of about 13. I think Coates was also carrying about $500 - 600M in debt.
The world has changed a lot since then and leverage is frowned upon but an EBITDA multiple of 1.25 seems crazy.
