At first glance I feel they are over-paying and seem to be banking on continued high growth to justify. Certainly not a bargain.
This is a very large play for IMD. Hopefully it goes better than their 'diversification' foray into Vaughan Energy (US oil and gas sector) back in 2014/2015 which was a lot smaller move but still took them to the very edge of going broke when it didn't work out.
The institutional investors are quoted as intending to monitor the performance of the acquisition very closely over the next 2 years. Absolutely in my opinion.
