What does the gravity separation of the supfide mean?
It does need to be discussed if people don't understand it.

It means a fifth of the volume needs to go through the processing plant. This means a smaller processing plant for the equivalent amount of ore. Therefore, higher grade ore to process means a smaller CAPEX and OPEX.

Note: The quartz rock surrounding the sulfide is the thing that enables the crush/gravity separation to work effectively.

The IP is the cheap and high yield cobalt they get by heating the enriched ore without oxygen yielding a sulfur (not sulfuric acid) by-product. This is soon to be patented and could apply to all sulfur deposits in the broken hill region.
