Either way the board and management only own 2.3% of the company shares- I'm sure all the managers would have been keen to retain their jobs and salary.

One thing which will always stick with me about AUT's company success was the fact their Executive Chairman owned a huge amount of company shares, enough such that his contribution to the company would significantly affect his own wealth as well. It can't be understated how important it is for the higher-ups to have skin in the game imo.

Just $250k is nearly 5% of company.
