My understanding is that production of 500K tpa was the dirt of which 25% is overburden leaving 75% ore for processing (I'm not a Geo so uncertain of correct terms). So 500K tpa x 75% x 30% yield = 112K tpa bitumen. As someone said yesterday, 30% yield is very conservative (to get the PFS done) and mgt seem to think that a higher yield is achievable (previously mooted 45% and higher?).
