Nearology will pay out big time if or when a general gold mania should become manifest in the markets. The odds are in favour of when rather than if given the pack of charlatans running the monetary policy US and the rest of the world. While my preferences would not be for geopolitical turmoil to be driving this it is a distinct possibility that it could be the catalyst that ignites the gold mania. The last time that there was a gold mania (remember Bre-Ex in the 1990's) exploration properties in areas of Canada that were regarded as nothing more than "moose pasture" (so remote that only wild life could be found there) with prospects that were there only because the exploration properties were undrilled soared in price. Obviously, there were profits to be made by those who had accumulated shares before the mania broke out. The trick is to accumulate the shares while nobody else is accumulating the shares and sitting patiently on what would normally be a non-performing investment.
