IMO FAR and CVN are extremely similar.
I've been in FAR since 2011, and have traded my way to a 'free carry'.
I've just bought into CVN, after it pulled back off the peak, got in at 35c. I read the posts on the CVN board and get some serious deja vu. Back in 2014 when FAR hit the paydirt, we were all going to be millionaires by Christmas. If indeed it is first oil in 2021, that will be a 7 year haul.
As I did with FAR, I'll look to sell off CVN at further spikes along the way. I expect CVN will take a number of years to see the potential realised also. If they can avoid spats with JV partners, and considering that the NW shelf is a little less 'frontier' than West Africa, they might be able to do it a bit quicker, but I'll be surprised if they hit 'first oil' before FAR do.
And on other oilers, our ugly little sister from Kenya days - PCL - might finally get her boobs with the currently spinning Cormorant drill.
