The companies might be similar but the circumstances are certainly not.
Trying to compare CVN's latest discovery and subsequent sp spike to FARs at this point in time is a dumb comparison by any measure......hopefully we hit oil in Samo, then let the comparisons happen.
The Euroz report, once you sort out all the mistakes, have CVN and FAR oil at around the same value.
If we use their CVN value, Au $6 pbo, and apply that to potential Samo-1 discovery = a tad under 2 billion Au net to FAR or 36 cps
CVN traded at ~ 17 cps prior to discovery so up 100%.
Depending on where FAR's sp is prior to Samo results, assuming good, I'd be very surprised if FAR does not have a similar CVN experience.
But comparing the two is atm is pretty dumb IMO. DB
