that is "not quite" true .......
once an asset is in production, the initial capital is considered "sunk" .......
so cash opex determines if a well / field will be shut-in or otherwise .......
from CNE's preso's - this asset should be cash opex circa 10-12/bbl ......
compare and contrast to say
Cooper Basin oil - A$25-30
most shale basins - circa US $20/bbl opex
