Quite a few wind farms as well Mr H. As you say fuel is expensive here, it always has been yet we seem to get by.
I don't know how much influence that had on the pole but my gut feeling is people are just looking at ways they can do their bit for a cleaner future and would consider holding off buying a new ICE car if they though a better option may be on the way..I'm doing that myself and one of my son's is doing likewise...my Wife who is about to retire and myself who already has ,are about to start the transition shortly with an electric moped, just for running around town...Im at the age that Im not sure what will come first an electric car or an electric mobility scooter..
