No-one is more enthusiastic than Alex Passmore, he is high energy and totally devoted to the project.
On occasion, his enthusiasm leads him to announce overly optimistic timelines.
Note the change in the Scoping Study ann language from June to Mid year.
That means there has been slippage and July is the now the date imo.
DFS in Q4? Perhaps but that is a massive task so don't be surprised if it's very early next year imo.
Rox are doing everything by the top industry standard, no cowboy shortcuts.
So industry standard for Younami resources is a 1.2 million-tonnes-per-annum plant with an output of 90,000 oz Au PA.
The POG is over AU$2,600 and while we don't know the AISC yet Rox will be a cash cow when it gets into production.
It's a difficult time in WA with costs bowing out across the sector, 10% + PA.
DEG said their Capex is $800m, it will be closer to $1B now and construction time will be much longer.
Rox will be needed between $140m - $160m imo and will have no trouble raising that Capex.
Alex is the best connected MD among ASX juniors as evidenced by the small discount he has given instos when raising cash.
With Hawke's Point Rox will secure that funding soon after the DFS.
