Next batch of RC assays from Circle Valley are due to fall any day now.
I've been going through the early exploration updates from Independence Group as they started to drill out what would become Tropicana (4.86Moz and growing). The chemical and surface anomaly comparisons are compelling.
From IG's 2005 AGM deck:
22 February 2005 (IG Early Exploration Update)
"High-grade gold spikes are not a feature of the broad gold-mineralised intercepts. The mineralised zones appear to be lodes, not high-grade vein quartz in otherwise low-grade ore zones. Preliminary dating suggests the host rocks are Archaean in age."
The exploration didn't hit any bonanza grades to catch the market's eye, methodical and incremental drilling peeled back the earth to define the monster resource it became. From the outset, Circle Valley manifests a sense of same-same. While too early to compare with any conviction, the presence of Tropicana pathfinder elements in the ground and the manner with which Circle Valley is slowly revealing itself might foreshadow what this exploration could become. Once IG zoned into their resource in 2005, their diamond holes became a game changer. The step out RC holes due any day now from Circle Valley will provide us with some more direction of what might be beneath. Hopefully Circle Valley might not be too far from its own diamond moment as well...
Early days, but three great projects and a management team that is gradually building a footprint for driving action and outcome...
- Murchison (1.1 Moz and expected to grow. St Anne's anyone?)
- Circle Valley Rare Earth.. if the MET comes back to indicate viable commercial extraction.. look out...
- Circle Valley Gold (Early results showing gold.. exploration is brewing...)
Great sharing the ride with everyone here...
