The Australian NetSuite business will not improve shareholder value. That is clear for all to see. It has matured and is stagnated. The original business model was to target small business and that was successful. The shift to larger business operations is not how the company sales force is set up. It will achieve minimal success.

A commission fee on $12m revenue does not excite retail or institutional investors. What it does is give the company a cash chest of approx $4m. Having said that, to have it sitting on the books, looks impressive - but it is doing bugger all.

Shareholder value will improve when they deliver over $30million from Netsuite Australia/Singapore/Asia in revenue plus grow Riyo along with associated acquisitions.

If such activities cannot be achieved they might as well divide up the cash and give it back to the shareholders as a dividend and let the listing be used by somebody that can create a public company with a future.

The new board is a start. However board rooms are not the coal face of the market.

Is this just a shuffling of the deck chairs.

The board is comfortable, they have a set of numbers to play with and can keep dressing these up and not do any damage.
Canning the CEO and executives are comfortable, they are all getting paid and making good money.

Then it comes down to the purpose of being a PUBLIC COMPANY - CREATING SHAREHOLDER VALUE.

If this cannot demonstrate growth over time - then get out and let someone with the commercial skills do the job.

I await the RESULTS re share growth as sprouted by the new chairman.

If this is not being demonstrated within the next 12 months, considering the years they have been operating as a public company then they need a new board/executives with a completely revised business model.

THIS SELF SERVING BUSINESS MODEL PROVIDING SUBSTANTIAL REMUNERATION FOR THOSE WITHIN WHILST LEAVING SHAREHOLDERS AS AN AFTER THOUGHT - MUST CHANGE.
